Well, that was according to OH. He loved the sound as he brought it down against my unsuspecting bottom. Very stylish in black and silver with soft but firm silver leather at the ‘thwacking’ end. Feels great being stroked across breasts or buttocks. The handle is textured which provides a good grip and the strap is a nice touch so it doesn’t go flying across the room should you lose control (of it). I was very surprised by the length of the crop but then I suppose you need length to be able to use it effectively. The shaft is quite bendy so it gives a lot when it strikes somewhere. I was a little daunted at first, having only experienced paddles or hands. The leaflet advises stroking first but oh no, OH had to get stuck in and whack my bottom quite hard from the start. And the more he thwacked the more he enjoyed the noise! A great crop, left my bottom feel pleasantly stinging (I did yelp quite a lot as it got harder) and even enjoy a little thwack across my breast. Overall a great riding crop, very stylish but doesn’t fit in my toy box!

Fabulous crop, I looked at several and although I really wasn’t keen on buying something branded with the 50 shades mark the little fabric label could be easily removed. This feels fantastic in the hand, great for gesturing and very gently running across someone’s face in a teasing, slightly threatning way 😉 Makes a fantatic sound when thwacked on your hand and just as promised gives a sharp but pleasing sting when administered. I have many crops, paddles, flogs etc and this is up there with my favourites. Much gentler for spanking than a paddle (a totally different sensation too) but this was bought more for the sense of theatre and drama to create amazing bedroom scenes. Great length and nicely made. I love this crop! I have bought other Fifty Shades items in the past from LH and have always found the quality of the toys to be excellent. The FSOG Crop is no exception and is beautifully designed and made. The tip, stem and handle use different textures and colours making this a joy to hold and see. I particularly like the handle which is made from a soft non-slip material with a criss-cross detail which makes it pleasant to touch and ensures your hand doesn’t slip as you use the crop. The leather tip is just the right size and shape and allows the crop to be used for teasing and whipping. As another reviewer has said the quality of this crop adds a sense of drama to the bedroom and my OH loves me using it on her as she is restrained. The tip makes a wonderful sound when it hits her bottom which is such a turn on for both of us! I think this is one of the best crops I have personally seen and thoroughly recommend it.

I have a couple of products from the 50 Shades range and have been really impressed with everything so far. This did not disappoint and is a very welcome addition to my collection! The packaging is very deluxe and would make a great gift. The sleek black, white and of course Grey colour scheme is very luxurious and gives the product a high quality finish which even Mr Grey himself would be impressed with 😉 My initial impressions of the whip itself weren’t great. There is an official 50 Shades tag on the crop, which came off almost as soon as I opened it. This is only a minor quibble though and I probably would have cut it off anyway. Other than this, the crop is made to a high standard which you would expect to see if you were paying twice as much for this. The crop has a degree of flexibility meaning you can use it for light sharp taps to harder smacks. Personally, I love to use this on my OH when he is wearing a butt plug. I use a mix of hard and soft strokes to keep him on the edge. Great product.

I recently added the Fifty Shades of Grey Riding Crop to my collection of spanky tools and despite the fact that I already own 4 crops, this one soon became a favourite. It is now the one I reach for most often. There are a number of reasons I rate it so highly, but the one that jumps out the most is the attention to detail used in its creation. The FSOG is not your common, boring riding crop. Instead it has clearly been designed to appeal to BDSM users and compliment the books from which it was created. The handle features a criss-cross pattern, made from a soft, suede material that feels comfortable in your hand and creates the friction necessary to get a solid grip. This handle is capped with a silver (plastic) tip and has a thin leather wrist strap attached, for added security during spanking. Moving down the crop, which is wrapped nicely in a soft, cotton material and features a FSoG tag, you reach the supple leather tip; painted silver. The design as a whole gives the impression of luxury, without actually costing you a fortune to purchase. The only thing you may want to bear in mind is that, initially, the leather tip can shed a little (from where it has been cut to shape) and you might find a few little silver pieces of material on your bed/body after the first few uses. This shedding stops quickly. Aesthetics aren’t everything though and after many sessions with the FSoG crop I am pleased to say it functions well too. When it comes to spanking, different sized objects create different sensations. Large or wide objects create a sting on the surface and a thudding thwack that travels deeper into the tissues. Smaller, thinner objects create a harsher sting, with less thudding depth. The FSoG riding crop comes with a reasonably wide leather tip. It is also a lightweight implement, so the sensations it provides are surface level for the most part. It produces a mid-level stinging sensation, but also offers a reasonably broad range of intensity levels too. When used with moderate force, it turns the skin a soft shade of pink and leaves the area feeling warmed. It takes a high amount of force to completely redden the skin and cause welting or bruising. Of course, the intensity will vary depending on what part of the body you use it on. The more sensitive the area, the more intense the sensations. Compared to most implements that I own, from floggers, to canes, I personally rate the FSoG crop on the lighter end of the scale when it comes to inflicting pain. In other words, I can hit a little harder with this crop than I can with most tools in my collection, before my partner begins to approach his pain threshold. For this reason, I believe the FSoG crop would be suitable for beginners, or anyone who enjoys being spanked, but has a low pain threshold. This crop would also suit any dominants that are just beginning their journey too. I found it easy to wield and control, although you do have to be careful of your aim. If you strike our submissive with the leather tip, it will feel less intense than if you catch them with the length of the crop itself, so bear this in mind during your spanking session. As the wielder, I sometimes like to whip my tools through the air to create that cracking sound as it cuts through the air. I noticed that this cracking, whipping sound was more muted on the FSoG crop, compared to other, thinner varieties, but it still exists. Overall, I enjoy using the FSoG riding crop and did not experience any issues during use. It is built well and looks fabulous.. It produces a great range of intensities and is easy to use and control too. I think the FSoG crop is a fabulous tool for beginners and can be used effectively by advanced users, for warming up to more intense sessions. I highly recommend it

I’m must say i am impressed with the FSOG products, they haven’t failed to deliver on quality. I bought this crop along with the feather tickler as I was curious to see what my husband made of them, well I’m glad I did. The crop itself is well made and there is a weight and feel to it that gives it a sense of good quality. I like the branding and the detailing. What can I say about this? My partner and I have never used anything more than our hands and believe me for a while that was enough to heat things up. But we decided to venture out and purchase this riding crop! Fits elegantly in my hand the handle is a nice touch to ensure it is secure! I bought this after I broke my last crop (not by over enthusiastic use I hasten to add). I couldn’t decide on which one to opt for, we were very happy with the previous one and this was very similar albeit with the “Fifty shades” branding. We are not into anything hardcore so this fitted the bill nicely. The crop has a nice flex to it and is capable of the sweet sting from it’s title, just right depending on how you like it delivered. Me I like the sting, my wife prefers a more playful flick, whichever way it gives a satisfying thwack. This riding crop is a good impact play implement for use all over the body however, I would only recommend this particular riding crop to beginners as it’s not meant for serious impact play.I received this crop while it was on sale so I paid under the current price at which I found it to be not only a pretty good deal but also more sturdy than I thought that it would be for the price that I bought it at. It’s important not to be heavy-handed when using this crop as while mine hasn’t broken yet, it doesn’t seem like it would be sturdy enough to stand up to a real beating with it. When having it used on myself, the impact and sting that it causes is not too intense but it is able to be felt. When wielding it myself, it doesn’t feel too flimsy or light and clearly has some quality to it, just not that of a crop double or triple it’s price. If wielding it correctly, you don’t have to be super delicate with it, and it definitely gets the job done for those who prefer light to medium impact play. The materials that it was made with are of medium quality and after awhile you may experience a little bit of fraying on the end of the actual crop part that is sewn together.
