Little box of pleasure and pain
We received “Fifty Shades Darker At My Mercy Chained Nipple Clamps” in the post recently as a tester item. As usual the item came in the obligatory plain packaging on the date promised. Thumbs up to Lovehoney for their usual exceptional customer service. Upon opening the plain parcel within was a small good quality package/box inscribed with the FIFTY SHADES DARKER (The official pleasure collection) At My Mercy chained nipple clamps graphic, with an image of the clamps on the front. We immediately thought to ourselves ooh yes that looks lovely. Upon opening the box it was no surprise to see a high quality item within. There are two tweezer type clamps with silicone tips for comfort attached to a quality silver coloured chain. In addition each clamp has a 4 ball weight attached which gives a lovely pulling effect. There’s also a small charm attached to one of the clamps with the Fifty Shades Darker Logo inscribed, which is a nice touch. They are very comfortable to wear with the adjustable slider on the arm of each clamp enabling differing degrees of sensation. My naughty husband gave them a good yank, which was pleasureably painful hehehe. The added little bonus inside the box was a lovely little midnight blue satin drawstring bag inscribed with the Fifty Shades Darker logo to store the Clamps, which in our view continues the theme of overall class and quality with which we view this item. In summary, a must have item to add to your collection, it’s just a really nice piece of kit, highly recommended.

Please, let me wear them forever
I love nipple toys, and I own a few rings and suckers, but my small collection was missing some chained nipple clamps. The majority of my nipple toys are of the fifty shades of Grey brand and I think they are great so I was more than happy when I got an email from Lovehoney saying that I had been selected to test these Fifty shades darker chained clamps in exchange for an honest review. The clamps come with a great silky storage bag. At first I though it was black, but looking at it under the sun light made me realise it is actually navy blue. It is the kind of colour that I love and I think that combined with the silver lettering, it really makes the bag look gorgeous. Plus getting a storage bag with a toy is always a nice touch! I found these clamps to be a bit difficult to put on. When we first tried them, we never managed to put the clamps on my nipples without having one of them always slipping off. We couldn’t even get to adjust them tighter because the clamp would always fall off before we could do anything. The one nipple with which we were having the most difficulties is smaller than the other and slightly inverted. The solution turned out to be using nipple suckers before putting the clamps on, so that both nipples would be big enough and well erected. Once we did that trick, we had absolutely no problem keeping the clamps correctly in place. Because of how rigid they are, the clamps need to be opened wider in order to be placed on the nipples. This means they don’t necessarily need to be tightened to provide great sensations. The small weights also add a bit of extra stimulation, and more intense sensations can be achieved by moving up the sliding part. No need to push it very far to increase intensity by a lot; a little makes a big difference. Once they are adjusted correctly, they stay securely in place, no matter how strongly you pull on them. The clamps themselves provide great sensations, but the whole thing gets even better when you or your partner plays with the chain. I find that chain to be especially useful because, not only it intensifies the sensations, but it also is a great way to stimulate both nipples using a single hand. This is the main reason why these chained clamps are now my to go nipple toys for solo play! I find this toy offers a great range of intensities, going from a gentle pinch to an intense and painful experience, if that’s what you‘re into. I’ve never came across a nipple toy that was as intense as I would like, but with these clamps, I only need to slide the bar half way up for them to be too painful to endure. No matter how tight they are, the silicone tips makes them really confortable to wear. In addition, because of them being pretty rigid, I am predicting that these clamps, unlike some other types of nipple toys, are not going to become weaker with time. In conclusion, the Fifty Shades Darker chained nipple clamps may be a little difficult to put on at first, but once this problem is overcome using some nipple suckers, you won’t ever want to take them off! They can be suited for people who want light stimulation as well as for people seeking for a painful experience. I personally love to use these solo as they allow stimulating both nipples at the same time, with a single hand pulling on the chain, leaving the other hand free for something else. If you are hesitating to buy those chains, just do because they’re absolutely worth it!

A very pleasurable pinch
First of all I’d like to say a big thanks to Lovehoney for sending these out to us in exchange for an honest review. My OH and I are huge fans of nipple play and this little set of pleasurable pinchers are right up our street. They arrived in a plain jiffy bag and I was very impressed with the box that they came packaged in when I opened the envelope. Sleek, classy and tasteful as is in keeping with all of the Fifty Shades previous range. Inside the cardboard box the clamps were attached like a piece of jewellery onto a cardboard sleeve to keep them safe in transit. Included was a full, easy to understand instruction leaflet and even better there was a very pretty, luxury, midnight blue (which just happens to be one of my all-time favourite colours) storage bag to keep them safe in our toybox. These are very appealing to the eye. The silver colour is very expensive looking and the graduated beads feel lovely to the touch. They are a pleasant weight and have no sharp edges. The cushioned silicone-tips at the top of each clamp are well made and sturdy. This is a good, quality product and the connecting chain is really strong too. In use these are really easy for my OH to apply to either side of my nipples and the metal slider clip means that you can easily adjust them to have anything from a mild yet pleasurable pinch for beginners building up to a satisfying squeeze for more experienced players. These make my nipples really sensitive and although my OH couldn’t bite or suck my nipples properly while I was wearing these he could run his tongue over the peaks and also used my bullet vibrator on them which felt amazing. Really tingly. He did have to be careful though to keep it just on the tips as if it went against the clamps it made a really noisy rattling sound which was a bit off putting. Aesthetically these looked fantastic from my view looking down while on top and my OH was enjoying the very sexy view from below. They look and feel super hot during doggy too. He enjoyed giving these a little tug and watching my face as they gripped a little bit tighter. The weight of these feels lovely and the slight drag of gravity adds to the pinching sensation. They stayed on really well during play and the only “ouch” moment was when we were changing position and my knee caught in the chain and yanked one of the clips clean off but we just opened it up and popped it back on again. No harm done. These are really easy to remove by simply sliding the metal clip back down again and the feeling of blood rushing back into my nipples was delightful. They were sensitive and erect for ages after and every kiss, blow, suck and just the feeling of cool air around them was magnified. We didn’t use these on my OH as he gets no pleasurable sensations from his nipples at all and when using previous products just finds things there annoying. However these would be great to use on any males who do enjoy having their nipples played with due to the unisex design. They are really easy to clean and then safely stow away in their storage bag until next time. They are perfect for a naughty night away as they take up only a small amount of room in an overnight bag. I would highly recommend these to anyone who enjoys nipple play for the pure extra pleasure that these clamps can provide. They are also great for even bondage beginners to try as they are so easy to use and they are unintimidating to look at unlike some of the more advanced screw type clamps. They don’t mark the skin either even though they provide a firm grip during use. The indents at either side of my nipples disappeared pretty much straight away as soon as the blood rushed back into them. These beautiful clamps live up to their name and are indeed Fifty Shades darker…. I received this item in an inconspicuous envelope. With the additional clitoral clamp as well. Inside was two narrow but long dark blue and black boxes. Quite the appropriate colours for bondage play in my opinion, sensuous, inviting, dark and erotic. The nipple clamp box shows off the design of the clamps. Two proud clamps with forgiving silicone tips and adorned with a stunning silver chain attaching them. What makes these clamps 50 shades darker are the additional weights. On the bottom of the box are three words saying “At my mercy” which is at the heart of every sub (including myself) and will tickle the right parts of both Dom and Sub partnerships. I believe this little quote dares you to partake in nipple play and entices you to discover bondage. Opening the box was easy, inside there was a set of instructions and to my surprise, a small satin storage pouch! The clamps and the storage pouch was separate in the box. The pouch is around 6″ long and under 3″ wide, plenty of room for theclamps. The colouring is dark royal blue, with fifty shades darker printed in silver on the bottom. Secured with a drawstring at the top. This’ll keep your much loved clamps safe and would make an exceptional gift. The clamps themselves, I love the attention to detail that has been paid. Even the silicone tips are coloured a shade of grey. The clamps are about 2″ long. They are adjustable, with a small metal slider that you can move up and down, increasing or decreasing the pain and pleasure. The weights clang together deliciously, hang off your nipples beautifully and topped off by a stunning little touch, a small circular tag with Fifty Shades Darker embossed, making this piece of bondage very unique. The chain itself is about 16″ inches long and weighty as well. The chain enables your Dom/partner to pull and tug at, which when attached to your nipples will increase the pleasure/pain once more. Increasing sensitivity, blood flow and adding that craved feeling of being at someone’s mercy. The weights aren’t heavy. That being said you do notice the weights once they’re attached to your nipples! They do not drag on your nipples or pull them down so if you’re worried about that happening then stop! So, this’ll give an amazing visual to both parties. The clamps are strong and I’m confident will last. Naughty and nice
These genuinely do feel exceptionally well made, with a surprisingly nice heft to them considering they are not terribly big. They feel substantial and well made. The silicon tips are comfortable and the little slider that closes the tweezer and lets you adjust the degree of pinch work smoothly. The chain and little beaded weights have just exactly the right amount of heft – enough to give a tantalising tweak whenever you move, but not so hefty they will pull the clamp off. That said, anything more than a gentle tug on the chain and you do risk having near both of the clamps come loose. As to pinch, they give a nice squeeze that builds up into something more interesting after a while. It means these can be worn for longer periods, which is nice because they have a kind of “kinky jewellery” quality which makes them fun to wear. Great fun

Easy to use and effective
I chose these as an intro to nipple clamps because my wife likes pretty sex toys, so I thought these ones would be more appealing to her than the alligator clip style ones. When they arrived, I wondered about my choice because they didn’t seem to open very far and her nipples are quite wide. But we gave them a try. Using them the first time, learning how to get them on, was a bit of a learning curve but not too hard. The clips easily opened wider than i thought they would and a good tug and squeeze on her nipples (it might seem harsh…but that is what these are about) with my fingers made it easy to slide these on. After they had been on for a few minutes, with me ocassionally sliding the ring up to tighten them more, she said that they were really hurting her nipples. A lot! I started to remove the clip – she told me not to, that was the point! The slider held them in place for some tugging on the chain, and the chain also worked to conduct vibrations from her we-vibe tango. She left them on for several minutes, would take them off for a bit of relief, then back on, over and over throughout the night. She did say the next morning her nipples hurt, but no more than they have after ‘no toy’ evening. Amazing first purchase
This was the first time I had ever brought anything nipple related before (even though I have always enjoyed having them played with I’d never really thought about something like nipple clamps). They arrived in a discreet box as advertised and arrived very quickly. They are very good quality and for me they are perfect as they are adjustable. I have had and used Lovehoney nipple suckers for a while now and wear them for a while then play with my nipples when they come off or my wife does which I found out quite recently I actually like and enjoy as it feels good and a little bit wrong.I thought I would try some chained nipple clamps as read can get some sensations generally with the weight of the chain.After using my nipple suckers they’re as long as they can get.I struggled trying to get these clamps to attach and stay on. I managed to get them to stay on for a while but I have to be quite rough and really push up and go for the smallest and tightest setting.I’m 6ft2″ 14 stones and do lots of exercise and can take a fair amount of pain but when I managed to get them clamped on they were so tight it was incredibly painful in not a good way.After 5 minutes or so I had to remove them and my nipples were quite tender for a few days.My wife has very long teat style nipples but her nipples are very sensitive so she isn’t into any suckers or clamps.I think I’ll try them one more time in the hope I can find a slightly less painful setting but if you’re a man like me with quite short flat nipples (or a woman with low profile nipples) then they might not be the right fit for you.

Disappointing
Bought these together with nipple suckers to enhance nipple sensitivity but neither product lived up to expectations. Clamps do not easily latch onto my flat nipples – and do not open sufficiently wide for my wife’s larger nipples. Very fiddly to attach and when they seem to be secured they slip open after about five minutes. A pity as they look and feel good, so will persevere but first few attempts have been less than satisfactory.
