Erotic Bedtime Fairy Stories and Bondage
My fiancée has her moments where she can go from “sweetly sexy”, to “hold me down and ravage me…hard”. The latter has evolved into wanting to be tied down. Our first purchase many moons ago were the vile, cheap, furry ping hand cuffs and never got used. Having moved recently, we got a nice sized bed, perfect for sex and decided to surprise her. I ordered a book of erotic fairy stories, the (frankly appalling) Rabbit Wave and Sportsheets Beginners Bondage Kit. The intention being, to read her dirty stories while working on her with the wave. She was in such a rush to use the wave that the bondage and stories got put on hold after the wave killed to mood. So another night and bondage attempt two was on the cards. This beginners kit comes with a blindfold, two cuffs (that fit either wrist or ankle) and straps that attach to those cuffs, The straps attach to the cuffs with an easy release clip and the end of the strap can be looped round anything and then clipped firmly in place with a fold down clasp, so no knotting to undo and be free. The Cuff clips likewise are easy to release quickly, so if you want out, you can do so quickly. The Cuffs attach with Velcro and are a nice length, easily reachilg the headboard support of out large bed. A good tip is to play with the clips and clasps before a session and work out the best fixture points, then when the session starts, you can really take charge! Dominate them and with much aplomb. I imagine the fantasy looses something if the Dom has to ask for the aid to for help in tying them down. The first thing you will notice however is the soft plush, luxuriant feel of the face mask and cuff lining. No hard leather or sticky, cold PVC to rub here. Your partner will be restrained, but in a soft sensual and very tactile manner, The packaging doubles as a closable storage pouch and over all seem to be well made. The nature of the clips make me believe that they would not take too much really rough struggling, but then this is a starter kit, not Japanese rope bondage. Anyone who is just starting in bondage and really wanted to be freed, could easily struggle their way out of the restraints and that I suppose is ideal. At the price from LoveHoney at £14.99 they are a bargain where other kits in this price range look cheaper and little more that dog collars and leashes. Also, other bondage accessories and separates seem to quickly escalate in price if you try to put a kit together. Bottom line is, want to try a little Bondage, at this price you would be mad to look elsewhere. Yet another LH purchase which is set to become a firm favorite, and a when we extend our bondage selection, other products from this brand will be looked at first. Hope this helps! A great introduction kit
This is a great kit for those wanting to spice up their sexlives by experimenting with some bondage. The cuffs are soft to wear and quick and easy to put on. The ties are long enough to attach easily to most beds (or anywhere else that takes your fancy). I am not normally passive while having sex so I have put the materials and stitching to a good test. They are well made and sturdy but lightweight and easily stored. They are a great value addition to anyone’s collection.

Great kit
This is a great little kit. The cuffs are really soft on the inside, so no nasty marks when you are straining on the teathers in the heat of the moment! The teathers are nice and long making it even more fun to tie your partner up in interesting positions. Very handy kit to use

Soft, strong, long
I was surprised how soft the cuffs (and blindfold) were, really good feel and didn’t rub or cut like a strap or rope would. The straps are nice and long and sturdy, and easy to tie and undo. The velcro strip seemed a bit short around skinny wrists, if the fluffy bit had extended along the back of the tab it would’ve been perfect, although there’s not been an escape yet one can’t be too careful these days.

A very good beginners' set
My other half brought this as a surprise for me after we had been talking about it in bed one night. The cuffs are really velvety soft and do not leave marks on your wrists or ankles so noone knows what you’ve been up to 😉 One downside is that if you want to tighten the straps you have to get under the bed and re-tie the not which puts everything on hold for a while. The blindfold is also made from the same soft material as the cuffs so it is nice on your face. The straps are pretty strong as well.

Good to get you started
I brought this to surprise my other half after finding out she likes to be tied up/restrained. The cuffs were nice and soft so not to leave marks on her and the straps were nice and strong. The blindfold was also nice and soft and a nice extra to just being tied up. I found it annoying having to retie some of the knots to try and shorted the length of strapping and control how much she could move around. This did kind of disrupt the flow. From looking at the straps if you didn’t have any framework of the bed to tie them to, I’m not too sure how well they will hold your partner in place if just tied to each other under the bed. Good start to bondage.

I have just recieved this in the post this morning and cannot wait for my husband to get home and try it out! I have already attached them to the bed and told him I have a surprise waiting for him at home! My first thought was how soft the cuff material is, it’s gorgeous! No nasty metal or PVC. The straps themselves seem very strong and sturdy and are just the right length for our new bed! The velcro fastenings are perfect for keeping you restrained but can quickly be undone for whatever reason. The overall feel is kinky but the cuffs make it quite sensual also. Good for beginners
This product is excellent for beginners to bondage who want to experiment and test out new things in any room, the straps allow the restraints to be used in any location that you can tie the straps to. One flaw with this product is the straps are quite difficult to untie if they have been pulled very tight unless you have nails or aren’t removing the straps. The restraints and blindfold are really soft and comfortable and can easily be tightened or loosened quickly.

Good value for money
Me and my partner normaly go for the more expensive bulky leather straps for our bondage session. However these items are not so good to take away and use out of the house. This set is easy to store, take away and use outside (circumstances permiting). So esentially is is a very practical item. The quality wasnt quite as good as some of the products we are used to however it was comfortable, did not rub and stayed secure even with a bit of struggling. This producy is great value for money and would be especially good for beginners.

Great value way to move into tie up
We ordered this to do a bit more in the way of tie up, after using ties and handcuffs (which I find too restrictive for anything other than foreplay) The product packaging is a bit tacky, but don’t let that put you off. Once inside, there are four Velcro cuffs, each with a tether to tie them to something with, as well as a single blindfold. The cuffs themselves are really soft, they are easy to fasten, and remove when done deliberately. There is a good length of tether, so you can tie it to …anything! But when on, though comfortable, they hold you in place and don’t fell like they’re going to open. By the look of it the cuffs would fit any reasonable size of wrist well. My only problem with this kit has been the blindfold, though comfortable enough, you can see out from underneath it which somewhat negates the point of having a blindfold. Bottom line? Great value for money as far as tying each other to the furniture is concerned, be it to tease or something more. However if you want to deprive your partner (or yourself) of their sight, then I’d suggest you invest in a better blindfold to go along side this.

Kinky and cuffed
I brought these because they seemed the most versatile and I wasn’t wrong. With these you can chose to use just 2 or all four of the restraints (which some other ankle and wrist restraints lack the versatility). The cuffs themselves are extremely soft, so if you are experimenting within your sensual sex life then theses would be for you. The more adventurous may find these too tame and too kind to the ‘submissive’ 😉 I was concerned when i first put them on, because of the size of the cuffs, they have a wide circumference. So around my wrist not much Velcro actually attached to each other, however, they have stayed in place so far. The blindfold may as well not exist to be honest. The elastic strap on the back is too large for my head (and I would say I have a medium size head). The cut of the blind fold and the softness of the material mean that it bends upwards over your eyes when it is on, so you can easily see out underneath.

Amazing
I bought this after receiving the wrong item from another site and ever since shopping with lovehoney i have never gone anywhere else. This was part of my first order and arrived in very discreet packaging so no one knew what i at one point would get up to. It also arrived very fast! The OH came over and his eyes lit up when i showed him these! They can be secured anywhere and to almost anything as you just need to tie the ends to anything you can think of. So far we have mostly just tried the bed but this can be arms above head or by your sides. We have also tied two together behind my back above the elbows so they have many uses. Perfect to struggle against because you really can’t get out of them but you can be released easily so they aren’t a mood killer. They are also lined with a very soft material so they don’t rub, hurt or leave any marks. So the OH can leave you there for as long as they like. The blindfold is also comfortable to wear however it did slip off easier because it was so soft. This was our first proper bondage set and we are overall very pleased with the product. We use it again and again! Great start to my toy box which i now add to quite regularly thanks to lovehoney! Fantastic piece of kit for bondage beginners
We bought this kit years ago as a step-up from make-shift restraints such as ties and dressing gown belts, but despite now owning much kinkier leather restraints and tethers we still keep on going back to this old favourite. We have a large metal bedframe so the positions that I tie my wife in are only limited by our imaginations. Our favourites are her either face up or down with her wrists and ankles tied to each corner of the bed, spread as widely as possible. Though most recently she was on her back with her legs spread wide in the air and her ankles tied to the headboard (very sexy!) Whilst this set may not have the kink factor of other types of restraints it can be a great, non-intimidating way to introduce a partner to bondage play. Another advantage this set has is that it can be much more comfortable for the wearer than leather cuffs or ropes. This set is really well made and has withstood a lot of use. We have also found that as long as the wearer’s hands aren’t too close to any of the restraints then there is no escape; the velco ties are very secure. This set is great for taking on holiday too, as it is lightweight, takes up very little space and won’t embarass you when your bag passes through the x-ray machine!

The Sportsheets beginners kit is a good starters kit the hand and ankle restraints are easy to use and once on they stay on the Velcro strips are of a good strong material. The only down side is the length of the restraints I found to be a little on the short side could do with being a bit longer other than that a good sound product.

Love this kit
Me and my OH bought this as its something that appealed to both of us, and boy were we glad we did!! Worth their weight in gold
These are brilliant. We use these the most out of everything naughty we have. The straps have a really long length so attaching them isn’t a problem. We have a bed that doesn’t have any tie points but with the length we were able to tie them under the mattress to the bed slats. TIP: Once you’re done with them you can push them under the mattress, hidden away, easily accessible when needed next. The cuffs themselves are very soft but are strong. They will hold someone in place for some good fun. Not that we tested them, you could probably break out of them with force but they are for beginners after all. The blindfold is soft and does the job well. You are limited to only your imagination. Tie someone up to a bed, chair, radiator, curtain rail, stair banister literally anything. Not only that you can use them to hogtie aswell. They are really versatile.

Great for beginner's bondage
This was the first bondage kit I have bought and as soon as it arrived I wanted to try it out! The blindfold is very soft and is a comfortable fit for using during sex or with a bit of foreplay, it blocks out most of the light but is easy to remove if it needs to be. The kit comes with four handcuffs that have long leads with them so are very good for tying you to a bed but have enough room for the person to still be able to move around. The handcuffs are also very comfortable and the material is very so soft so doesn’t leave marks on your ankles or wrists. The only down side is that the handcuffs sometimes loosen or come undone during sex which can be a bit annoying to have to stop and put them back on. Other then that this product is fantastic for beginner’s bondage and is great value for money would highly recommend this product!!

Used this a few times with my OH. The straps have a good length and appear to be of good material. The blindfold, although very soft material doesn’t fit either of our heads properly. Wow
I bought these as a little treat to change things up a bit and they did not disappoint. These straps have long ties to them so it is easy to tie them to bed lats under the mattress as i do not have bars on my bed. The cuffs on these are very comfortable so no matter how much you move they do not hurt or get uncomfortable. Cheeky bondage
My wife and I bought these for a little fun. Quite Good for Beginners Wishing to Experiment.
I got this for my partner after she said she would like to try being blindfolded and restrained. It seemed Ideal, and mostly it is. She found the blindfold very comfortable and exciting. The Velcro cuffs were easy to adjust and release if requited. The let down was the attacments of the straps to chair, bed or whatever, you have to loop them round and tie a knot, in them, I expected slip rings which would have made for quick and easy adjustment, if you wnat to tighten or loosten the restraint you have to fiddle about undoing knots and re-tying them which breaks the flow! That said it’s a good set for a couple who want to try out some mild bondage for the first time, I’m going to see if I can get some slip rings to go with it, if I do I’ll post where you can get them. Not bad, not what I was expecting though
Overall a great product! Velcro is very strong and the fabric used around your ankles and wrists is really soft. That being said, attached to the cuffs, all that is there is some nylon and nothing to attach your partner to anything else. I was expecting there to be at least a change of texture so it would be easier to tie. The blindfold is not the best either, and I could probably get something a little more decent from the dollar store.

Awesome for first time bondage
I’ve always wanted to try bondage. It turns me on sooo much. Soo I’ve picked this up for my boyfriend to try on me. I tried it to my metal bed frame and it was a good fit. The straps to tie are long so you can definitely adjust them. The velcro straps work great and aren’t uncomfortable at all. They are very sturdy and you won’t be breaking free any time soon. The blindfold is alright. It stays put but you’d have to put it low enough so you can’t see anything. It’s comfortable as well. Good starter kit for the money
It was relatively easy to set up and my partner enjoyed the experience. I wound up using a blindfold with an adjustable band as the one included was too tight for long wear. Your knot game should be on point as you will have to tie and retie to adjust. Maybe velcro on the ends would have been easier? The padding and velcro that wraps around the arms and legs was well done. Overall, good value for the money.
