Received these tights from LH to review. Firstly, usual swift delivery in plain brown box, possibly too much packaging in this day and age when probably an envelope would’ve sufficed! O.K. onto the review, the tights arrive in a clear cellophane sleeve with a small card insert, stating that they’re Lovehoney hosiery……description being “sheer crotchless tights, one size, colour black”. Upon opening Mrs. T commented on their silkiness and sheerness, she usually wears five or ten denier tights or stockings and these are around ten (there is no denier description listed), they appear to be quite a sheer fabric. Upon wearing they did encase Mrs. T’s legs very nicely, she is quite tall and these fitted perfectly. Waistband is about one inch thick and quite sturdy with double material for strength around the bum area. Obviously the attraction is that they are crotchless, now unlike some crotchless items the ‘hole’ here is quite petite and tasteful. Colour being black, once stretched over the legs take on a pale black colouring which is very nice. Overall a nice pair of tights, decent quality and sexy being crotchless.

I was kindly sent these tights in order for a review so thank you, Lovehoney. They arrived a few days after I’d received the email saying I’d been picked in Lovehoney’s standard plain postal box. I’ve never tried crotchless tights before but love all other types of crotchless underwear so I couldn’t wait for them to arrive. The packaging is standard tights packaging in Lovehoney purple with their cute logo. I opened it carefully as I have laddered countless tights and stockings over the years before even getting them on! No worries with this pair, though. I did my usual thing with tights – push my hand into each leg to the toes then splaying my fingers as I pull my hand out. Then I pull the waistband to loosen the weave ready to wear. This was where I encountered a problem. There was no way these tights were going to be comfortable for me as I like a bit extra room around the waistband and plenty of length for my long legs. I gave them another pull to loosen the weave completely then put them on. Not wanting to sound like a Norah Batty’s daughter who likes baggy tights, I was correct. They were too tight for me. This is such a shame as they’re lovely tights. The material is smooth and very stretchy and the crotchless part is well-constructed. They’re proper crotchless tights, not a cheap pair with just an unstitched part in the centre seam. I’ve never owned crotchless tights before but I have seen my friend’s and the quality of these is a big step up to hers. I decided to wash them to see how they held up and to see if they would stretch enough for me to wear comfortably. I popped them in a lingerie bag and washed them with my other undies. They came out as perfect as they went in but sadly, not stretched (which would normally be a good thing). As I’d washed them I decided to take them to my friend’s to see what she thought of them (keeping the details of their origin and brand a secret, obviously). Like me, she was very impressed with the quality and the feel of them and as a size 16 who is several inches shorter than me but with similar size thighs, they fitted her perfectly. The packaging doesn’t give measurements or a size guide, it just says Plus. I’m disappointed that these are tight (but wearable for short amounts of time) on me. I’m an 18-20 but I am tall with long legs so maybe all the stretch got taken up with the length. The waistband is definitely too tight for comfort, though, and I have a comparatively small waist. I must say I’m disappointed with the fit. The design and material are great and had they not been so tight to be anything other than bedroom wear I’d be wearing them out and about. I’d read a fashion blog for disabled people that recommended them to make life easier in a public loo – just wear them under your “normal” knickers and away you go. No struggling to get tights up without laddering them if any of your limbs don’t work well. As it is, I’ll be keeping these as a nice surprise for my partner when he gets home at the end of the week. I can’t see them being on long enough for the tight waistband to bother me! I’m not sure if I could recommend these to people who are much bigger than an 18. 20 at a push. And then you’d have to be careful with your proportions. If you like a bit of “give” in your tights as I do (and they definitely last longer when they’re not stretched to the limit) I’d have to say try a different pair. If you’re a size 16 who likes a close-fitting pair these would be perfect.

These are a lovely, finer pair of tights to wear with your LBD. I did just that-well my dress wasn’t that little! But I loved the thrill of knowing that I had no underwear on under these tights and had easy access for my OH, which I teased him with for most of the night. The feel of these tights against your skin is silky smooth, they are of a finer denier I would say that it may be a 10 denier also there is good stretch to these. Love that these are of a finer denier so can be worn in the hotter months too.

Received as a tester and I was excited to review this item. I wore the tights on a date recently and felt really sexy and empowered, which gave me a much needed confidence boost. I am happy with this product because: i can wear it with regular clothes and nobody would know. The tights aren’t too thick and have a nicely flattering sheer look which looks great on my skin tone and accentuates my legs. I have worn the tights twice and they are still in a good condition. They are easy to put on and remove and have not ladderred yet, which i’m pleased about!. I am a size 10/12 and i found no issues with the (one-size) sizing. Looking forward to wearing again and letting my date in on the crotchless secret.

I’m a size 20-22 so I ordered Queen size. I couldn’t get them over my bum but I don’t think the leg length was long enough either.The quality of the tights is excellent but they just weren’t big enough.

My partner and I found these to be less smooth/soft as other crotchless tights and the edging around the opening was very coarse to the point of making any play uncomfortable. However, they do certainly look good and I’m wondering if perhaps the pair we purchased had some kind of manufacturing fault as this is unusual for that brand.
