Too small
Unfortunately they would not go up my legs at all! I’m a size 18-20, we’ll say 20 in lingerie and they wouldn’t go up past my shins. There was no give in them either which would make them difficult to suit a wide size range. I was so dissapointed as they were expensive and I discarded the packaging and never had issues with stockings from love honey before as I buy regularly. Everything else is usually great but unfortunately these weren’t.

Wet look, look good
These wet look lace top hold ups are made of 95% polyester and 5% spandex. Very sturdy and strong. The wet look has a sexy shine. The lace top is 3″ deep and the stocking is 31″ from the tip of the toe to the top of the lace band. I have a 31″ inside leg and the stocking fits to above my knee, but not up to my thighs, the advertising picture model is probably about the same leg length as me. There is no stretch in the material so pulling them higher is not an option. 2 silicone strips hold them in place well. They fit my leg very well but if you have legs on the slimmer side they may not fit/cling quite so well. When I took them out of the packaging the shape was a bit strange but once on they looked fine.They are stitched to the rear thus giving a nice seam up the back. Wash instructions are hand wash only, I haven’t washed them yet but experience with this material I would follow the washing instructions to the letter, wash separately and dry separately.

Sultry and sexy
I’ll begin by saying I’m 5″1ish, so on the short side, my legs are fairly muscular but not above average in size. Pulling these stockings on took a few minutes, there is “give” to the material, but due to the nature of the fabric they did require so wrangling and smoothing. The lace tops didn’t dig in at all, and clung nicely to my thighs. They didn’t quite come up as high as I’d usually expect from stockings, which is the opposite problem I usually have, these ended around half way up my thigh rather than high up. There is a seem (as expected from the material) which runs the length of the stockings to the top-which is where my only real gripe is. These seem to have been stitched into a point at the toe, rather than a rounded shape to follow the foot (as you’d find on stockings or socks usually). I found it difficult to wear heels with them as the seem pressed uncomfortablely into my foot, or sort of folded into the toe of the shoe, with out shoes on my feet looked like the belonged to a kinky elf. Overall they looked amazing on (from the foot up), they are a snug fit all the way up to the thigh where (on me) the lace had enough stretch to sit on the skin rather than dig in. The “glue” at the top held them up really well, I only had to adjust once, but as the fabric is tight and heavier than usual stockings I expected this.

Sleek and Sexy
These sexy wet look hold up stockings look and feel amazing, the fit is good, they come in one size, I’m 5′ 3″ and they came up to mid thigh on me. They have a lovely glossy shine, definitely ‘wet look’ and sexy lace around the top, in fact I was told that these look much sexier on than my normal lace top stockings. The fit is good, they feel comfortable and don’t squash my toes, I wore them with little suede stiletto ankle boots and they look hot. They’re meant to be hold up stockings but I felt that they needed suspenders to help keep them up, otherwise they had a tendency to slip down a little, but it’s definitely worth wearing suspenders with them as the whole look is so sexy. They feel like great quality, they’re well made and I’ve worn and washed mine a few times now and they still look like new. I’d highly recommend them to anyone who’d like to try something sexy and exciting, I love them, they look so sexy when combined with Lovehoney lingerie.

Wet look hold ups
Rexeived as always plainly and fast. Quite simply a pair of wet look lace top hold up stockings. Relatively easy to put on due to the finish on the inside, nice feel and the hold up bit works well without them rolling down all the time! One thing we would say though is that they come up fairly short and are rather a just over the knee length. It would be a great idea to have a length option especially for the taller ladies! As these ones from foe to top is a little under 75cm…. The other thing issue we found was that they were not particularly well shaped around the ankle turn and they tended to bunch up a little.

These stocking are a great addition to the fierce range wich we have eagerly anticipated with plus size acomadation also avalible its a must have extra. the wider Fit stockings are a nice fit and dont roll with 2silcone hold up bands on the inside works very well. I purchased these along with other items from the fierce range without reading the reviews I wish I had read them first as others have said these arent comfortable or well made I completley agree and unfortunately they do sag in places making them look wrinkled really unflattering these do not stay in place either was really unimpressed with these! I had ordered these in the smallest size which was an extremely poor fit the feet on them is a really odd shape also there is a seam on this which I did not like they do have a nice shine and the quality of the material overall isnt actually too bad the material is quite stretchy just in the wrong places it’s a shame as these are going straight in the bin

Look great on and add that little extra wow
This was my first time buying wet look items and I was pleasantly surprised …these look great on and were relatively comfortable. I’m a 12/14 and 5’4″ they were a little cutting around the tops of my thighs bit bearable and came up to a nice height. I found them a little odd on the feet and due to the seam they ended in a funny looking point.

Holds Up
If you are looking to add a different look to your normal hold ups to your wardrobe, have a look at these. These hold ups have a lace top and accompanied with the wet look fabric, they look great! They will make you feel great when you have them on too… So are there any drawbacks? The only issue is the shape of the feet which are a bit odd. Its worth wearing them for a bit to get them to stretch to the shape of your feet and are more comfortable without heels.

Pleasantly surprised
On opening the packet and unfolding the stockings, the foot shape stands out as looking somewhat like a box. It’s a bit better when you’ve worn them/are wearing them but you still end up with a pointy bit at the toes which is a little odd. I’m not used to wearing stockings or hold ups so was pleasantly surprised at how shapely these made my legs look and how comfortable they were. They gave me confidence and made me feel a bit naughty and minxy. It took a couple of attempts to get them to stay up in place, but I’m attributing that to my inexperience rather than the product because when I got it right, they didn’t move! I like that there are two strips of elastic rather than one for security to hold them up. They have a tendency to bunch and wrinkle around the knees but are easy enough to smooth out by readjusting the lace tops. The sizing is true for 26-30 which is a good thing.

I was kindly asked to review the Lovehoney Plus Size Wet Look Lace Top Hold Up Stockings and I gladly accepted. I was so thrilled that these stockings fit sizes 26-30. Unfortunately I have lymphoedema on my shin’s, so it’s a task and a half to get any type of wet look clothing past my knees. Lovehoney sell fantastic, size inclusive, own brand stockings, so I knew these would be just as amazing and I was not left disappointed. My first impressions were shock and amazement at the quality of the materials and the overall length and fit. If you’re tall, you’ll still get thigh high stockings. I’m 5’6″ and can get the lace right up to my bum cheeks. If you’re petite, you may struggle with the fabric gathering around the knees and ankles. I like how the seam runs down the back of the stockings and under the foot, however, there is the slight issue of the fabric gathering into a triangle between the big and 2nd toe. Not gonna lie, it’s not a sexy look at all and anything I tried to get rid of it seemed to fail. Eventually I got used to it and luckily it wasn’t noticed. The sultry lace top is a good width for my very chunky thighs. There’s a great grip to the lace which meant the stockings didn’t roll down, even after hand washing the stockings and if I feel the need for extra support, the Lovehoney Plus Size Wet Look Lace Top Hold Up Stockings look even better with suspenders. The wet look material does tend to gather and wrinkle at my ankles, but hey, they’re not nylons, but a thicker material. You may need to consider a shoe size up to accommodate the stockings. I’d certainly be very happy to purchase these myself.

Love the fit
I absolutely loved these stockings. They were a great texture and not too thin. The stick at the top was great and stayed in place. The only thing I found strange and uncomfortable was the toe stitching. I didn’t know which way the toe was supposed to fit. It is a point toe stitching which I guess I would have rather it be open toe to be more comfortable. To make the seam go up the back of the leg I had to have the seam up the middle of my foot. DONT STAY UP
I am a size 18-20 and so bought one size Queen which should fit 18-24, so easily fitting me. They dont. They were a struggle to pull all the way up and when i managed to get them up, they just roll straight back down. They do have a sticky part on but doesnt work. The feet/ankles are weirdly baggy in comparison the rest of the stocking, the stockings also lost their shape just from me trying them on. Struggling with the idea that i shouldve purchased a size 26+….

These are simple, nice looking pair of hold-ups.They fit well and have a nice stretch to them. The material is nice enough and would go well with other products in the fierce line.I have the body con dress and bustier set which I use with them.

I bought these in plus to go with a couple wet look items of lingerie. Although the lace tops have a bit of sticky lining so they don’t slide down your leg, this doesn’t stop them from rolling outward and down. It would be impossible to wear these without garter straps to hold them up. The seaming on the foot is quite bulky and uncomfortable. Although these are not traditional stockings, I did expect them to have a slightly greater degree of stretch. The look of these on the calf is quite stunning. However the ankle bunching definitely detracts from the overall appeal if you are going for a head to toe imageI purchased these for a boudoir shoot. I may cut the feet off of them and see if that helps. But after paying about $30 for them, I feel like they should not have needed any mending.

I bought these as my first pair of wet look stockings as a big stockings and suspenders enthusiast.Being 6 foot tall these were a little bit to short on me, only coming up to just above the knee, and they have very little room to stretch. Although this meant that none of my suspenders would reach them, this wasnt a big deal as the elastic top to them keeps them up and secure.I love pairing these with a wet look body or basque and they look stunning together. I just needed to remove the suspender straps as they werent needed!they also appeared slightly baggy and wrinkled around the ankles.

Purchased these to go with 3 wet look outfits that I own. Recommend stretching them before wearing. They aren’t that stretchy. I am 5’6″ tall – ordered the smaller one size fits all version and they just fit. Fabric is tougher than nylon stockings so you will get more wear out of these. Elastic feels like they could be tighter if worn without a garter. Weird pointed toe as another customer mentioned – not noticeable with high heels on. Looks fabulous paired with other LH Wet-look items.

I can’t believe the price on these. They are not sewn like stockings, so the bottom of them looks like elf shoes because they’re sewn into a point rather a toe seam (you are going to need heels otherwise it looks ridiculous). For 166cm, size AU8, they only go up to just above the knee. Their length is more of a thigh-high boot rather than a stay up stocking. If you are a larger size, I don’t think they will fit around your foot or calf, and they won’t go up this high either. For an AU8 would have been better if the top was tighter because they slip down. Because they’re not sewn properly, they bunch real weird around the foot and ankle. The only reason I am keeping them is that they match the wet look bodysuit I got and I don’t have time to get anything different. Don’t bother with these, especially if you are tall or bigger (or smaller) than AU8-10.

They are terrible. Couldn’t even get my feet into the ‘dinner table knife’ shaped feet. There was no heel, so you just got crinkles on the front of your ankle. Material felt ok, but no give. Looked ridiculous. Complete waste of time and £17!! Didn’t even attempt my second leg.
