Look and feel sexy
We were luky enough to get a pair of Lovehoney Wet Look Thigh High Stockings to revirew and as always with Lovehoney products the they came quickly and discreetly and in the usual clear plastic packaging with all the necessary care instructions and description on a insert in the package. Normaly i dont really listen to the hand wash only part of the care instructions as we havd a fair collection of lovehoney stuff and they all go through the regular wash with no issues but these will definitely be hand wash as im not sure they would hold up to a machine wash. The Lovehoney Wet Look Thigh High Stockings looks and feels well made. There is a single seam all the way down the back that is bearly visable once on. Thankfully they fit me really quite nicely (maybe a tad short) but they are supposed to be one size fits all but even though there is some give im not sure how well they will fit someone plus size. I was impressed with how well the elastic on top of the Lovehoney Wet Look Thigh High Stockings held them up i had them on for a couple hours while i did a bit of house work just to give them a thorough try and i think i had to readjust them once. The only downside with the Lovehoney Wet Look Thigh High Stockings i can think of is it was a bit of a struggle to get them on the first but with the style and materials it was to be expected but one they were on it was definitely worth the effort. I would definitely recommend the Lovehoney Wet Look Thigh High Stockings

I might be converting to stockings
I am a hold up girl. I really am; they are easy and I am lazy. But I love the look of stockings and suspenders so I jumped at the chance to test these to see if I could change my ways. The first, and hopefully obvious, thing about these are that they do not come with a suspender belt so if you don’t already have something, you will need to buy a suspender belt or similar. Putting the stockings on, they cling to my legs without feeling tight. I am a size 18 and just under 5ft5 and they fit me quite well. There is some stretch to them so they will fit larger or longer legs than mine. I do have a slight problem with there being a little excess material, particularly around the feet (I am a size 5). I would recommend pulling them on slowly and tightly as it can be a little hard to pull up any excess material once they are fully on. The material is pretty durable, so you won’t need to worry about ripping these easily. I may just need to experiment with different lengths of suspender strap as I think that would help. I wore the stockings around the house for around eight hours and they remained comfortable the entire time. They are thicker than your average hosiery, but they never became too hot. I really love the wet look design of these. They look shiny without looking cheap and tacky. They are definitely a kinkier look than you get from most stockings, which means they are highly unlikely to be an every day wear kind of pair. But they are great for completing an outfit.

Different but sexy
I was hotly anticipating the arrival of these stocking, I’ve never tried wet look stockings before. They came beautifully packaged, wrapped in clear plastic with Lovehoney’s black and purple insert wrapped around them with washing instructions, each stocking was individually protected with tissue paper in the same shape as the stockings. The stockings themselves are sleek and shiny, with a top edge that isn’t elasticated but just finishes them off nicely. They are shaped to fit, with a seam down the back of them. The first time I tried them on I wasn’t really impressed with them, the foot on one felt a little tight and I’m only a shoe size 5. I persevered and kept trying them on and now it feels much more comfortable. I’m 5′ 3″ and they come to just past mid thigh on me and they do feel quite comfortable to wear, not too hot. The material doesn’t feel excessively stretchy, they cling nicely to my legs, but wouldn’t stay up for very long without the assistance of suspenders, but they are stockings and not meant to be hold ups. I thought that my suspender clips might get damaged, due to the thickness of the material but they seem to be fine. The material itself feels good quality, they take a bit of adjusting to start with, smoothing them up my legs and over my ankles to get a good fit. Personally, because of the way they’re shaped, the toe is slightly pointed so I felt they looked sexier if I wore stilettos with them. They certainly look sexy when worn with a suspender belt, slinky and shiny and I felt good in them. They also washed well, a quick hand wash and hang up to dry and they’re good to go.

I was delighted to be sent The Lovehoney Wet Look Thigh High Stockings (Black one size) to test and review in exchange for my honest review. Thanks Lovehoney and Leanne! The Lovehoney Wet Look Thigh High Stockings (Black one size) arrived well packaged in an attractive purple and black cardboard sleeve. Inside the sleeve the stockings are neatly folded, with a sheet of tissue between them, this prevents the stockings sticking together. On the reverse there is material information and care instructions. I was impressed with the presentation of the stockings. I am a huge fan of wet look material but I have never had much success with wet look stockings before. I was hopeful that the Lovehoney wet look stockings would be different. The Lovehoney Wet Look Thigh High Stockings (one size) are made from high quality wet look material. The have one seam running up the outside of the stockings (depending on which way you wear them) and they are well stitched together. At the top of the stockings there is a thin band of elastic to finish off the top edge. The wet look material has a beautiful high shine finish. These stockings are one size, I am a size 12, and 5 6” tall with average size legs ( calf’s: 15” and thighs: 20.5”. Putting these stockings on is quite straight forward, just as you would put any stockings on. Once I got the stockings on the first thing I didn’t like was the tightness of the stockings around my foot. They felt really uncomfortable. My feet are not particularly large, I am a size 6 in a shoe. The stockings reached about a couple of inches past my knee, and appeared to look very wrinkly, especially around the ankle area. Attaching the stockings to a suspender belt did improve the appearance, and smoothed out the wet look material. Unfortunately, these wet look stockings were not a good fit for me on the foot area, and felt very uncomfortable. I really wanted to love these wet look stockings. The fit on the legs was ok, but they came up short, I would have preferred them longer. I tried pulling the toe part down to make them more comfortable around the feet, but this made the stockings come up to just over the knee. With no silicone band to hold them up they just kept falling down. Sadly these wet looking stockings were not suitable for me. I would have preferred the foot part of these stockings to be larger and for the stockings to be longer in length.

A little short
Received these this morning. Used them with the late night secretary costume, they were a little difficult to clip onto the supspenders because the material is thicker than normal stockings but we got there eventually. The material is good I put the seam to the bottom of my feet and back of my legs. I found them to be quite short and could do with being a bit longer, they were nice and straight on my legs but crumpled around my feet. Still a good asset to my dress up collection.

Weird yet wonderful
Firstly, I’m always overjoyed to find a pair of LH stockings that can cope with my size 16 thighs without leaving me with muffin-tops. The tops of these stockings were actually baggy, which was a nice problem to have for once. Sadly though, they were a bit baggy in other places too, specifically around my ankles, which felt a bit weird, but thankfully didn’t look too bad. I would say though that these really do need to be worn with shoes or boots, and the seam around the toes is just downright bizarre: it runs under the middle of your foot and terminates in a point in front of your third toe, making you look like you are wearing a fancy pair of pointy slippers. When you are used to wearing conventional stockings with a horizontal seam across your toes, this does feel as weird as it looks, it is just a peculiar fit as well as appearance. Seams aside, they looked great on, and I would much rather stockings were slightly too big than too small, so I will most definitely be wearing them again to finish off a wet-look outfit.

When looking at the pictures before ordering, i took that the upper belt and clips were included but they were not. Only after ordering and feeling confused, i rechecked it online and saw in the information part that they were not included, so kind of feel mislead. Definately makes the point of checking very carefully what you are getting before you buy!! Apart from that, they slip down alot!

Looking Hot
Are you looking for some different stocking to add a bit of excitement to your outfits and time in the bedroom, then look no further! These wet look stocking fit well, hold up as they should and generally look fantastic! They also feel great to wear and to the touch. Only drawback is the shaping of the feet which is a little unnatural but unless you’re going to put heels on with them, it’s not problem! Otherwise we’d recommend wearing a few times first to get the stretch to fit your feet!

Awkward fit
I was sent these stocking in a size 26-30 by LH in exchange for a review. I really wanted to like these stockings and bought a wet look basque to go with them while I was waiting for them to be delivered. Though I probably should have waited until they arrived. The stocking themselves look good, are not as flimsy as some wet look lingerie can be and felt good on the skin once you put them on. However, for me, that’s where the positives end. I found the stocking to be an awkward fit in a few different ways. Firstly, while they stayed up around my thighs, the top inch rolled over and would not sit flat on my skin. They were also too big for me in length, which led to the gathering of extra material between the calves and ankles (for reference I am 5’4). The feet part of the stockings were also quite big (I wear a shoe size 6/7) and left excess material under my feet, which made them difficult to walk in. Unfortunately, the sizing of these stockings are off the mark for me and I would have loved them if they fitted well.

when I first took them put the packaging wasnt too sure about them. But once on they looked amazing. I got them to wear with the fierce plunging body and they just finished off the look perfectly. Quite disappointing based on other LH lingerie I have
These don’t seem to be up to the usual Lovehoney standard sadly. On opening, the foot shape is weird and boxy. It’s a little better once you’ve worn them, but unless you are pointing your toes like a ballet dancer it results in wrinkles round your ankle that are not attractive. Due to the wet look nature of the material there isn’t much stretch or give. Given the slippery nature of the fabric some of the binding at the top of the stocking seems to have not been caught properly by the sewing machine and is coming away from the binding but this isn’t the end of the world. They won’t stay up without a belt, but as they’re not designed to it’s not an issue, just worth noting. The sizing is true for 26-30 which is a good thing. Wish these made me feel as sexy as I thought they would!

I bought these to go with all the other wetlook stuff I bought, particularly a wetlook corset.These are a nice fit for me, I’m 175cm or 5’9 and a size 16-17. I don’t like my outfits skin tight and I knew if I got the regular sizing the fit would have been on the upper end of the scale and very tight, if they even fit properly at all. I didn’t want to tear or rip them either.These fit really nicely and I can still move comfortably.I don’t know what people are crapping on about the elf toe for, it’s a special type of material that won’t sew up with a regular toe and it seriously isn’t that bad.These are sort of lined as well so it’s not freezing cold on your skin. I’ve had genuine latex items before and they are freezing and then if you get hot they are boiling and get all sweaty, plus latex is a bitch to get on and off.These look really nice on and I found they stay up by themselves well enough, but if you wanted to complete a look you could easily attached suspenders.

Bit disappointing
I was impressed that they fit me. I have quite chunky legs and most stockings dont get passed my calves but these fit great, they went over my knee as well. Unfortunately the way they are made is horrible. The material feels a bit weird on the legs and I wish I read about the elf toes before buying because they feel so weird, they feel even worse when putting heels on top of them

Impressive
Really impressed with these. They came well packaged and as always discreetly, and felt very good quality. Given the price, this was more impressive as they were far from expensive. Have had similar before, although not from Lovehoney, and the quality and fit left a lot to be desired. Often the length is poor, and the foot end is badly shaped. Not so with these. Length wise they came up towards the top of my wife’s thighs, which was perfect, and the foot had no horrible bumps or misshapes in it. They completed the outfit down to a tee and felt very smooth and silky, just what you would want. They were obviously warmer than normal stockings, but not so much that they were unpleasant, and they were robust enough to handle suspender attachments without damage. All in all, spot on.

Disappointed by the false reviews
I recently had a friend gift me these stockings and I was really looking forward to living out my best domme fantasies, however I was left disappointed. The previous reviews, while seemingly helpful, turned out to be false. There is no actual design or shape to these stockings, no added stretch or structure put into the heel or knee, so the product stretches in some places and is baggy in others. While the material itself seems to be of good quality, the product lays in such a way that really does not look good on except for photographs at a distance. The lack of shape meant that rather than hugging my thighs and shaping to my legs, it stretched and looked more like a binbag. Perhaps it would look more flattering on someone with a larger frame, but overall I was very disappointed with these stockings.

I lately have acquired some wet look/faux leather outfits but had no appropriate hold ups to go with them. These were the most obvious choice!I’m 5’11, size 16/18 with 38DDs so got the queen size ones. So, I have skinny chicken leg calves, but chunky thighs so the material was potentially a slight concern. Yes, on my calves they are slightly wrinkly. I think I had in my mind that these would be totally smooth on, but realistically that’s not how they are. Material wise, they’re soft and I like how they feel on my skin. Non irritating. Length wise, these were actually pretty decent on me considering my height. I can imagine these might be on the long side for some. As others have said, the toe situation is super weird. Such a strange design. Once I’d stretched these over my feet, I could kinda deal with the elf toe situation. Definitely could be improved though. Happy with the size, the fabric looks cheap but I don’t mind too much because it’s still sexy. I bought these stockings to complement a surprise outfit and was a little sceptical as I checked out my basket… I don’t usually buy “one size fits all” as I’ve had a few negative experiences over the years and was a little worried that these would end up being on the right side, or a little too long! Didn't fit too well
I’m a size 16 and got one size fits 8-16. I should have ordered 18-22 as the pvc material isn’t stretchy at all like usual stockings. I was able to get them on but had major muffin top on my thighs. The feet look a bit odd so you’d have to wear heels with them. I’m sure if I had ordered the next size up they would have looked great.

Usually I try to avoid one size things, but stockings are typically listed in this size. Surprisingly they fit alright, except for the toe portion. The extra bit of material seems to jut out awkwardly on your foot. Unless you’re wearing heels or whatever, then that shouldn’t be too much of a problem, but I don’t pair footwear with my stockings. So it kind of becomes a slight eyesore.Also when I tried pairing these with the latex garter belt they sell here, the material of the stockings looked liked it couldn’t handle the garter clips, and it almost dug in too much to the point im pretty sure it would have torn. Either the latex material is flimsy or the clips were bad. Truthfully these stockings don’t feel durable, just something to keep in mind.

Size 10 and purchased one size fits 8 – 16 and they were a great fit. They came up quite high on my legs but that how I like my stockings. When I first got them out I was concerned they weren’t going to be tight enough around the ankles but I was wrong. They were tight all the way up and look super sexy especially when paired with the suspender belt of the same range.One downside is they get very hot and sweaty.

Great value for money.
I bought these for hubby to wear back in 2020, and they are generally still going strong. As hubby had made a comment about wet look clothing I purchased them for him as a joke. I think it was a buy one get one free deal. He has worn them on average at least once a week since then, and they have lasted well over 5 years.The material is good quality and are well made, and easily washable.

I like these, the legs look nice, but they roll down without hooking them up to suspenders. Looks really good when sexy suspenders are added! I used the one with 2 attachments per leg.The feet are also weird, and the seam is on the bottom of the foot. They fit my feet though. They are also a bit wrinkly everywhere, but I think that’s okay. Overall, they are nice to try out. I do not sweat in them and I dance hard in hot clubs. So they breathe fairly nicely.

Disappointing
Bought for my partner who was interested in some wet look stockings. Whilst the feel of the material was good the item lacked the elasticity needed for the tight fitting look as in the photos and instead often looked creased or baggy in certain areas. Now it didn’t completely ruin the item but it did put a bit of a downer on it as it was never possible to achieve the intended look.

Foot is very badly shaped (pointed). No shaping for ankle etc. We cut the pointed foot off as it just made ankles wrinkle Doubt they will ever get worn.

Overall the hold ups looks nice. They aren’t as wet look as I hoped and unfortunately the sizing isn’t great either, it ended up a lot smaller and shorter which meant they wouldn’t stay in place.

These arrived well packaged as usual . In essence they are very tight looking , reasonably shinny (although it does dull with washing) and feel great. The one size is perhaps a little tight in the toe region but this does reduce with wear. . My only comment is that they could do with being a bit longer. You definitely need suspenders with these.

Was happy with my purchase. My legs are average size and they fit well (a little lose on the top with no band to stop slipping) and were perfect to pair with a garter belt. The foot seems are a little odd as well but not noticeable when wearing a heel.
