Little black number
Once again delivery was quick and well packaged, as always from Lovehoney. Top service. I have gave this toy a thorough using for nearly a month before I add my review as always I like to fully try my toys before I share my insight.. The package this plug came in is great easy on the eyes nice and clean to look at as is all of Love-Honeys own brand in toys there packaging is much better than some toys out there. The plug looks extremely nice a little black number ;), The Plug is so smooth to the touch ( in my opinion I could fondle it all day ) I just love the feel and texture of it. It is nice and firm but not too hard so it still has flexibility in it which is great as some solid toys can be too hard but this little gem is perfect mix of both. The size of this plug is Medium in my opinion it is just that it is not too big so it would be great for Beginners and experts in bum fun. I am used to plugs a lot bigger but after using this I can say it is defiantly one that will get regular usage. Not just because of its great size but throw everything this plug has together and it makes a great plug. The flared base on the plug is excellent gives you the safety you require when the plug is in you know it is not going anywhere so you can relax, I have had a few plugs in the past that tend to move around so I was always scared to use them as didn’t want a awkward trip to A&E lol but there is no such problems with this plug. Using the plug for me was really easy minimal lube required in my opinion ( still us lots thou ) even with minimal lube this plug just slipped right in maybe that has something to do with the silky smoothness which is great. The smell as other have also mentioned – there is no smell to it at all so no opening the parcel and getting your eyebrows blew off your face which is a huge plus as sometimes the smell can be a mood killer and off putting. I was very impressed with the packaging that the Lovehoney Classic Medium Butt Plug arrived in. A sturdy cardboard box with the Lovehoney logo and heart in a lovely warm orange colour. Very different from pinks, purples and blacks. The box shows a picture of the butt plug and little pointers on the side of the box about security and comfort. There is a little instruction leaflet provided, explaining how to use and clean your butt plug. I have only owned beginner/slim butt plugs, apart from my steel, jeweled plug, but I struggle with that, so this medium sized plug was a perfect in between toy. The silicone is very sleek, flawless and silky smooth. The tapered tip makes the plug easy to insert when using plenty of water based lube, then slowly slip the plug in at your own pace, whilst enjoying the slight stretching sensation. With the silicone material, I can use the plug in confidence that it contains no latex (due to having a latex allergy), it is totally body safe and wont harbour bacteria like rubber/jelly toys can. A generously sized flared base, gives you the confidence that the plug won’t be suck up into oblivion, so you can wear the plug for long periods of time. Personally I haven’t orgasmed from this plug yet, the anal orgasm is rather elusive to me. Silky smooth silicone sensations

Quality plugging

Probably perfect size
We have two of these – his and hers. OH really enjoys anal action and wears this through the day ahead of a good session. A good plug to keep around
When I need/want a plug to use this is the most common one I use. It’s not comfortable to sit down in, due to the base, but it’s a good size and stays in play when inserted overnight. The neck is about 2.75 inches with a reasonably gentle slope from the widest point. This means it is unlikely to slip out but isn’t too hard to remove. With lube the surface is very smooth and it goes it without too much effort. It’s very easy to clean and well sized, I don’t find it too big but gives a good feeling whilst wearing it. With it in you don’t ever forget there is something there but it’s not an uncomfortable feeling.

Great plug if you can fit the length
I have had a somewhat half and half experience with this plug, on one hand I love how much it fills me up and the other I find it a little uncomfortable how long it is, the width is lovely and perfect but the length gives me difficulties when sitting down with it in. Just something to bear in mind if you are looking to wear this for extended periods of time out and about or just around your house. I would recommend it if you have had experience with longer insertions before and you find that the length will not bother you, otherwise it’s a great plug. Just a personal thing to me I guess : ) Also quick note, the base it is a little too wide for my liking, the actual base that it stands up on, not the width of the plug itself.

Oh so sweet and filling
This product comes tastefully boxed and of course with LH’s expert delivery service. The product itself is made of firm but flexible silicone, with a flat bar on the base to prevent the toy from traveling too far north. On this bar is a little embossed print of the Lovehoney heart which is a lovely little touch. As a fairly novice anal player, I found that this plug can be a bit tricky for beginners, as has a slightly wider circumference than the other medium LH butt plugs, at 5 inches it can be a bit of a stretch, but this is all due to personal preference and experience, but if you are a beginner, definitely start out with something a bit smaller. For me, I found with a bit of encouragement and a lot of lube, the plug inserts nicely with a gradual taper which eases entry. It’s a filling plug, and isn’t uncomfortable, and provides a butt load of pleasure (that wasn’t the best pun in the world, but hey, it’s true!) I’d recommend this plug for the more experienced beginner wanting to up the notches a bit.

I recently bought this item after discovering that I enjoyed using anal beads last year. The product is smooth and made of silicone so when you add lube, it slides in nicely especially due to the tapering. It is filling but not too over-the-top I found. I used Lovehoney’s anal lube with this product which was very silky and helped the product to slide in without any difficulty or uncomfortable forcing. Bigger than I thought
got this as a tester from love honey i picked it because i have one from a different shop witch was a large so i thought id choose the medium one witch turns out is the same circumference. This one feels much nicer going in its got a nice taper to it and once its in you know its in with the shaft at the base being a nice size (my other one has a very thin shaft) witch make removal easy. A stretch too far
I bought this as a step up from http://www.lovehoney.co.uk/product.cfm?p=16053 which I enjoyed very much but found to be a bit on the small size. On receipt the plug is well made perfectly smooth and with a nice taper to ease entry. The matte black finish is attractive, the plug is sturdy with slight flexibility. However if like me you are looking to take it to the next level my advice would be to go for an intermediate size. The difference in circumference from the above model was substantial to say the least! I am sure that with some practice it will be a comfortable fit, but for now its in the drawer of future pleasures.

Brilliant mid size plug
I love anal play, I love butt plugs and I love being able to wear them for a while. I’ve previously mainly used the Doc Johnson classic plugs, which these seem to be based on for shape but these are a step above for me. The packaging is a cardboard box, not excessive but not massively discreet. Nothing special really. For the low cost, I didn’t expect much but I was very pleasantly surprised. The plug is made from silky smooth silicone, with a nice weight about it, although not too heavy. The shape is longer and tapered, with a long neck so good for longer term use. The base is a bit wider than the Doc Johnson Pretty Ends one that I love so a little bit harder to wear for long periods as it can start to rub. Size wise, it is a little bigger than the comparable Doc Johnson black ones too. It’s easy to use, with a bit of lube, water based, of course. My favourite with this is Liquid Silk. It’s quite firm so easy to insert but does become more flexible as it warms of body temperature. Not for the absolute beginner but a nice feeling of fullness, especially over time.

Good for starters

A Beginners Treat

Very nice for something a bit more
My partner and I were looking to get into anal play, and after purchasing a cheap small rubber plug at a novelty shop, I knew I wanted more, so I took advantage of a deal and got this plug as well as the Lovehoney Bedtime Small plug. I probably should have read the sizes better, because this one is definitely larger than that one! But I was confident I would be able to use it one day, and I ended up taking it the same day that I used the smaller one. It comes in a simple box from Lovehoney, with instructions and advice(use a water based lube!). It’s very smooth and velvety, which makes it much less intimidating. It feels solid and heavy in your hand, and the base is wider than you’d think, which certainly made me feel better about inserting it. We used lots of lube(you can never use too much during anal play), and my partner slowly opened me up with fingers first, then the smaller plug, and then this one. It’s certainly not something I’d suggest just hopping right on. It’s thick and satisfying, but it takes a bit to get used to. Thankfully the slope is gentle and you can really ease it in and out and before you know it you’re at the widest part. Once it’s in it’s incredibly fulfilling. The weight of it makes it sit just right and it feels great to just kind of rock on top of it as it presses on all the right places. It’s not as deep as other plugs, but if you’re trying to train yourself for something wider, it’s a good stepping stone. I’ve found, personally, that I prefer width to height anyways. The stem seemed a bit short to me, compared to other plugs I’ve bought, but I still enjoy it quite a bit. Once you’re done it cleans up really well with just a bit of toy cleaner. The matte surface makes it really easy to tell if it’s perfectly clean, and it just looks really classy.

Surprising
Is it even worth mentioning how good lovehoney is with delivery? Anyway. I bought this alongside another realistic plug of similar length in hopes that my girlfriend would like at least one of them. Filling, firm plug
As soon as I opened up the box I couldn’t stop touching this plug. The texture and feel of it is just amazing! Super soft and matte without the implied friction. It almost feels like skin with talcum powder. The shape is fairly standard although perhaps with a more abrupt change in width between the widest point and the narrow section before the base. In practice this means I have zero problems keeping it in but on the flip side if I’ve not taken some time to loosen up over the widest point, can be a little uncomfortable to remove. The taper is nice and gradual and makes it nice and smooth to work up to the widest point. However, due to the firmness of the material I found this more difficult than softer plugs I’ve used in the past or my dildo of similar width. This means it may not look too big but it definitely feels big! For me, this can lead to some discomfort if I’m not that relaxed. For me the size is bang on and the plug rubs up against my p spot nicely. Not had a chance to use it whilst having sex yet but using it whilst masterbating has lead to some intense leg shaking p spot driven orgasms! Great plug
Bought this plug as a sort of stepping stone to the Love Honey Large Classic Butt Plug, more on that later. This plug is made of great material, is very soft to the touch, and most importantly is shaped great. At times, the plug has a bit of resistance going in, due to the drag silicone tends to have on your skin. Once the widest part is in though, the neck slips securely in, producing a nice, full feeling. For guys, its long enough to rub against your prostate, but I mostly enjoy it for the full feeling it gives me. I’m very used to plugs around 1.5in in diameter, so this size is great for me before I start moving to bigger toys, but might not be suitable for very first timers. If you’d want to push yourself though, this plug is a very good, small step towards bigger plugs. Because of the comfy tapered tip, you can skip “beginner” toys with this plug and some patience. I’d used a rubber plug before this one which was fine with thinner lubes, but you need to use a thicker sort of lube that doesn’t dry out very quickly for this plug. I’d used Astroglide to get it in when I first got it, and after about 2 hours, all the lube had dried up, which is a tendency of silicone that I’ve noticed. As a warning, taking the plug out while its dry is pretty unpleasant. The base and the stem of the plug are really great. I’ve worn the plug around the house and I never worry about it slipping out. The base is also very very comfortable to sit on, which is mostly how I use it, and doesn’t pinch your bottom at all. Once it’s in, it’s girth is thick enough to remind you that its there, but isn’t so big as to be uncomfortable. It adds a whole other level during solo play or even during sex. This plug feels awesome if my girlfriend is riding on top of me, but I don’t think it would stay inside me very well during positions where I’m on top of her. Two notes about it’s size: compared to other plugs, this one looks 5% smaller than other “medium” plugs for some reason. Also, I do wish it was just a touch bigger, and it definitely is not a good step up to the Lovehoney Large Classic plug. I wish that there was a medium-plus-sized plug around 2-2.25 inches in diameter to help move up in sizes. This plug gets the job done, it’s just not a good stretching plug. Overall, this plug is great for solo play, is very wearable without it trying to slip out, and doesn’t retain smells with proper care. Its a great go-to plug.

Cheap, effective and beautiful for the butt
I got this plug as part of the fantastic 2 for £15 offer from lovehoney, Design/Packaging/Construction. The toy comes in a very minimalist box, it’s simply a small (approx 4x2x3 inches?) white box with a picture of the contents and some words. Inside you’ll find the toy, in a vacuum sealed plastic bag, together with a small booklet with information on basic care and use. The first thing to notice about the plug is how delicously smooth it feels. Theres not a lump, bump or seam out of place, even with no lube the silicone feels soft and low friction to the touch. The material is quite firm, but does squish a little to the touch and is very flexible on the neck. This means that on insertion it is very gentle to the butt. The toy is made of body safe, non porous silicone, has a fantastic secure base and a thin neck. It could be worn by women during intercourse and not get in the way too much or just by anyone while doing just about anything! In use: I’m not entirely new to puttings things in my butt however until now I’d focused entirely on the prostate. That means small penetration, small toys and curves. Working up and sliding this toy in for the first time was something else, the pop when my ass finally enveloped the whole plug was something else and the feeling of fullness drove me crazy! Even though I’m not entirely new the first time did require a little more warming up than I had anticipated. Rather than just being able to slide it right in I did have to do some gentle push, relax, push relax sort of motions but I expect that for anyone with any anal experience, or even those who are new and are willing to use a finger or two to warm up, this toy will be sized absolutely perfectly. The one feeling I wasn’t expecting was a slight jabby feeling. This comes from a new, deeper sensation that I wasn’t used to, I didnt really understand how to relax the entirety of my anus. Laying still for a while made it dissapate but the first time I was a little too impatient and upon orgasm contracting on a jabby sensation did not feel great. Second time around I could properly relax after a minuet or two and now it just feels wonderful the whole way, practice makes perfect as they say. Clean up: The silicone is great, it doesnt seem to hold onto any smells, though I expect extended wear might become an issue. Cleaning is as simple as hot soapy water and a towel to sit on while air drying. Sizing: Although the plug says medium I really couldn’t recommend the small to anyone, even completely new to anal play. The small lacks enough of a neck to really lock down on, which provides a huge part of the stimulation for me. I would recommend someone get a medium+chooses another plug (large if you want a long term goal) and slowly warm up and work the medium in. With fingers, lube and slow gentle thrusts even a novice can work the medium in and it’ll feel all that more fulfilling than a small would.

I bought this and the large version because I was unsure which would fit better. I’m glad I bought this one and tried it first. This thing is definitely sizable and as a relative “novice” to anal play, this rocked me. Used it in the shower during some solo play and it really worked me good and I’m still tender from it. That said, I didn’t douche beforehand (hints the shower user, just in case), and that’s where this toy differs from some of the others of the same material. Not so tiny, but certainly mighty!
I purchased this a few months ago along with a range of other anal toys for me. The Mrs has her fav butt plug (50 shades glass) but for me, I longed for something a bit more substantial for myself. I have used a similarly sized plug (Nexus Ace Medium) but find the rings on that get a tad uncomfy after prolonged wear (more than 30mins) so was looking for 5inch +/- diameter but smooth outer. The LH medium looked ideal, nice girth, smooth outer and a good taper for easy insertion. Having used similar sized toys previously, I didn’t find inserting this too much of an issue (girth wise), what did surprise me a little was the length, it is much longer than my other plugs, so found when sitting down with the plug in, I could feel this a lot more than the others. Thats not a bad thing, just different. The size and weight of this toy are great, big and heavy enough to know youve got something back there, but it snugs in quite nicely and gives an incredible full feeling. I have grown in the amount of time I can comfortably wear this with 1-2 hours been quite achievable now before discomfort from lube evaporating (easily solved by reapplying more). The narrow neck also means your ass closes nicely around this toy, reducing (or probably eliminating) the chance of this shooting out unexpectedly (you could quite confidently wear this in public without fear of a whoops moment). The Mrs has no interest in trying this, she finds the size intimidating, but if you are comfortable with anal play, its really not that big at all.

My First Butt Plug Ever (Male)
I write this review after a few weeks of using this bad boy and wanted to give you all a better understanding at what you are in for. This was my first butt plug that i had ever bought after experimenting with prostate massagers and the ol’ fingers. Before this i only had experience with a couple of fingers and a very slim prostate massager (nothing this girthy) and wanted to feel this “full” sensation everyone was talking about. When i felt ready i inserted the butt plug in and pushed it very slowly. For this session, i wasn’t able to push the plug all the way in due to me being a complete beginner. However, when i tried again the following day, i left myself plenty of time which done the trick as i managed to get the plug in all the way. I should mention that both times the plug felt amazing when being pushed in and the feeling of the sphincter stretching was delightful. This is the most important part, once fully in, i felt a pokey feeling (as if it was going to far) bear in mind i am a beginner so this may not occur to you. Big in all the right places
This plug is a good step up in size from my other plugs, but I ordered it for when I want that extra bit of stretch and fullness or to warm up for a bigger dildo. Well what can I say – it performed in all the ways I hoped – the taper is sufficient to make insertion fairly easy after suitable prior warm up, and the overall size once inserted is nice and filling without being uncomfortable. The neck is quite thin in relation to the bulb so is comfy for longer wear and the plug definitely stays in, but the bulb is rounded enough to pull/push it out with relative ease when the time comes as long as you used enough lube to start. Finally the base, although a bit on the chunky side and not necessarily the comfiest ever, it is definitely not going anywhere and at no point during normal play was it uncomfortable – only after 30-45 minutes sitting/standing does it start to rub at all. My only minor observation was that if the plug were the same size and the base the same but all made from a softer dual density material like the lifelike lover 7.5″ dildos it would make for a better long term wear plug and maybe not be so challenging for people stepping up from a smaller plug.

Great plug

I’ve been interested in anal play for quite a while, and having tried out a dildo and Prostate massager previously, I thought it time to give a butt plug a go. There is one thing however, which I find to be a little irritating with this product, and that’s the base. After wearing the plug for around 3 hours or so, I found the edges of the base chaffed the skin around my arse slightly. This may just be a problem for me, but its something to be aware of if you’re considering this plug. In an ideal world, the base could be narrower, and slightly longer. This would reduce contact with some of the more delicate areas of skin. In regards to the material, it scores a good number of points here.
