Does what it says on the cup!
I was a bit dubious at first when I saw it was self lubricating, but when it came to actually trying it out, it definitely works pretty well! The inner canal is coated with a kind of waxy lining and all it takes is a few drops of water to activate the self lubrication!The opening was a bit fiddly to enter at first, but once I was in, there were no further problems there! The internal length is also more than adequate for comfortable use. It actually feels pretty good to use, though the longer you use it, the more water you’ll need to keep the self lubrication going. If you’d like some added vibrations, the sleeve also features slots for bullet vibrators too!The design is fairly simple, as the cup is a single piece, featuring a small hole, which can be covered with a finger to adjust the suction pretty easily. The suction hole will blow air out with each thrust, if left uncovered, so if this is something you would find distracting, then this probably isn’t for you. The simple design does mean cleaning is pretty easy though!As cool as the self lubrication feature is however, it is limited with its number of uses and can only be used for up to 8 play sessions, though I imagine this could be less depending on how long those sessions are and how thoroughly you clean it afterwards. Even after the self lubrication is over though, it can still be used with any water based lube, which works just as well!Overall a decent toy, even after the self lubrication has run its course!

A bit disappointed but all worked out in the end.
Upon unboxing I was very pleased to see that the toy wasn’t in too much packaging, just a layer of wrapping and a small paper roll with the information on. When reading the instructions it says to add a few drops of water to the inside and can be used up to 8 times and then use water base lube after that. Me being me I added more like 20 drops, then I thought how was I supposed to clean it out after using it.So the first time when it came to inserting my penis I had to add my own lube to myself anyway as I aspected so when the instructions says just add a few drops of water is miss leading. I didn’t feel like there was much lubrication on the inside even after 20 drops, more then what it says to do. So in my mind the self lubricating aspect of the toy is a bit pointless when you need to use lube on yourself and a bit on the outside of the toy.The toy has very strong suction when the hole is covered and felt amazing almost like a tugging sensation, probably too much suction so the next time I’ll try putting a small pin hole in the sticker so it’s not as strong. The second time I used it after I cleaned it out with water and left to dry for the next day I decided to just run water through it before use instead of 20 drops. Still having to use my own lube on myself because otherwise it was extremely difficult to insert, I couldn’t work out weather the self lubricating part of the toy was any good. After a few try’s I just ended up pumping lube inside the toy and to myself and it worked fine. So the extra money it cost over the non self lubricating THRUST PRO toys is to me pointless, even if the self lubrication worked great for a few sessions it’ll still end up needing lube in the future just like every other toy. The toy itself is great if you just use your own lube as you normally would but I wouldn’t recommend spending the extra few pounds just for the self lubricating aspect on this toy just because if you have to put some lube on yourself anyway to make it easier to insert then you might as well just use lube on the toy while you’re at it.

Getting a brand new masturbator is always an exciting experience, Theprospect of a self-lubricating one was very interesting to me. I worked some fingers in and could feel theslightly sticky/tacky lube. I ended up forcing my way in and it was asomewhat enjoyable experience, I then removed the stroker from thecase to run some warm water through it (as per the cleaninginstructions).I tried it a couple more times with diminishing returns, but then Ihad a stroke of fortune. I left the stroker face down (vagina down?)after cleaning it, the next time I opened it the lube had slicked upto the opening and it was far better.My advice to you is this:1. Add some water to activate2. Put the lid/cover back on and leave it upright3. Wait ~5-10 minutes4. It works
Eerily similar to the real thing when warmed. Tried to use just with water, did not work out, lube is downright necessary. Something you can’t see with the photos is the black case is removable and the inner fleshlight has an exit hole that makes cleaning easy. Condoms are recommended to keep it clean of mold. I use it bareback and clean with soap and water, then leave upright in a cup to dry. 2 weeks in so far no mold.

Great for the price
This is my first purchase of a masturbator for a couple of years and the Thrust Pro Lara did not disappoint as a comfortable and ergonomic toy.The sleeve is very soft and pleasant to the touch, the inner texture is pretty close to the real thing in my opinion. The outer chamber is comfortable to hold, with an air hole allowing for noticeably different sensations during use. The canal is comfortable and not too tight.The ‘self lubricating’ feature, although very pleasurable upon first use, means the toy stays ‘wet’ making cleaning difficult and the inner canal doesn’t dry for some time. However, I do expect this to diminish after a few more uses. Another consideration when cleaning is that you will need somewhere to leave the toy disassembled to dry out thoroughly. Additionally, the sleeve can pop out occasionally during use as the soft sleeve doesn’t hold in place. The trade off for lack of rigidity being an accommodating canal if you aren’t looking for a toy that will be super tight.Despite its shortcomings, I would really recommend this toy for its comfort, texture and overall quality. If you are looking to step up from ‘pocket’ toys but not ready to graduate to premium brand masturbators, Lara is your girl.

I had high hopes for this toy, I mean just look at the cross section photo! All those twists and turns, knobs and bumps in the passageway must be pretty sensational right? And self lubricating too – awesome, right? Unfortunately, no, not right. The material is incredibly soft, probably this is what they meant by calling it self lubricating, but that very softness means that all those bends, twists, knobs and bumps inside translate into only a very very soft sensation only the penis. Imagine plunging into a hybrid marshmallow/cotton wool bundle and you get my drift. The material is so soft that it comes away from hard plastic housing more easily than your penis. The housing itself, whilst being discrete is cheap and nasty looking, not well engineered at all. The only way to enjoy this toy is to use plenty of lubrication and to be pretty excited to begin with or orgasm will remain a distant dream. I found that in practice it is a good way to start a solo session but ultimately resort to a different toy or the Mark I hand to finish off.Finally cleaning. This is pretty much a nightmare. Those sensationless bumps, knobs, twists and turns do not make cleaning up easy – nor is drying the thing afterwards easy. This toy is unlikely to see much use in this household.

Easy to use, lovely sensations.
The textures were immaculate. The suction control made it very easy to use which is always useful. The orgasms I’ve had using it have been astonishing. It’s fantastic. Having used the toy, I can safely say three things:- It looks realistic- It feels realistic- It feels amazing to useHowever I can find a few issues with it, not exactly with the design but rather a problem of the entire type of toy regardless of model.It’s incredibly hard to dry out. You’re told to use just a splash of water to activate the lube, but that water sticks around a while. It’s quite hard to dry out without leaving it in the open for anybody to happen upon, not something you exactly want to do.Speaking of the lube, whilst it’s fine to use – and I’m not quite sure if it is this or the toy itself but – it smells strange. It’s somehow slightly fruit like, but a tiny bit pungent. It’s fine whilst in use but you have to open a window and keep the doors closed because otherwise somebody asks questions about what the smell is, and it’s hard to pin it on something that you would feel comfortable with admitting to them.Finally, just one final issue, the suction control. It’s only a little issue, but as other people have mentioned, the suction control hole makes a noise during use that sounds somewhere between a hiss and a tiny whistle. More of a minor annoyance.
